Mark your calendars now for the annual Canterbury Woods Elementary School Fun Fair 2006.  This year’s Fun Fair has a Safari theme and will take place on Saturday, March 3, from 10 AM to 2 PM.  For those of you who may be new to the area, the Fun Fair is a fun-filled carnival extravaganza held each year at the school.  It is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year and includes games for all ages, a bake sale, food concessions and activities including a rock-climbing wall and moon bounces.  The PTA funds or helps to fund many important programs at Canterbury Woods, including field trips, cultural arts programs, teacher stipends, student council camp, chess club, and Odyssey of the Mind, just to name a few. 

The Fun Fair is for Canterbury Woods students, their families, and community members.  We invite neighbors from other schools and pre-schools to attend the Fun Fair at Canterbury Woods ES, which is located at 4910 Willet Drive in Annandale.   I am excited to be a part of the 2007 Safari Fun Fair and count on you to make it a great day and a successful fundraiser for our school.
